Ecstatic Dance for Women

Join us for a circle of connection and somatic exploration,
where dance is a freeform meditation, and sober revelation.

The Collective

Working in partnership with Wayfinders on Hudson, we are a growing community of women who circle and share, facilitate embodiment practice or just drop in for a much need break and chance to dance.Facilitation may include movement guidance, contact improvisation, song circles, live drumming and more. If you would like to facilitate, we can pay $75. Reach out and join the collective!

The Format

DATES

We will meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month x 5:

Feb 12th, March 12th, April 9th, May 14th, June 11th

FORMAT

7:00 listening circle

7:30 guest facilitator

8:00 freeform ecstatic dance with a playlist

9:00 doors close

FEES

The Rec department requires that you enroll for the whole series of 5.

$100.00 Irvington Village and school district residents

$120.00 non-residents.

REGISTRATION

Register for the series through the Recreation Department platform here. It is a hurdle the first time but then you are in the system. No refunds after February 5th. Any refunds prior, will be reduced by 5% of the program fee plus $25.
